What do you think of when you hear the word “optimize”? Do you think of a robot or some kind of mechanical system? Does it bring to mind some kind of cold, impersonal approach to life?

My guest today shows us that optimizing your life is not only very personal—it’s necessary if we want to be more productive and creative. His name is Mitch Swergold, and he’ll show us how to optimize our performance so we can be at our creative best.

Mitch Swergold is a corporate consultant, public speaker, writer, and coach. He helps clients increase productivity, reduce stress, improve creativity and optimize their performance by training our most important, and most overlooked, asset: the human mind and body.

Mitch is a former lawyer, investment banker, and hedge fund manager who shares what he’s learned to help clients understand and benefit from the power of the unconscious mind and to them live happier, healthier, more successful and fulfilling lives. Mitch holds a BA from Columbia University and a JD from Emory University School of Law.

In our conversation, you’ll learn practical ways to be more productive and deal with stress, how to deal with social media, how creative and productivity are related, and practical ways to be more creative in your everyday life.
