Introducing the Reel Leadership Crossover Movie Series
This is a great time to be a movie fan. This summer alone, we’re treated to Avengers: Age of Ultron, Tomorrowland, Pixar’s Inside Out, Jurassic World, and a number of other great movies that look great.
But movies are more than entertainment. They give us experiences we could never have otherwise and help us to see life from another perspective. And perhaps most important, they can also be a catalyst to help us become better artists and leaders.
Because I love movies and believe in their power to change us, I’ve teamed up with a few other bloggers and podcasters for a series called Reel Leadership. This is a “crossover” series that will be continued on several different blogs and podcasts. The purpose is to distill leadership lessons from this summer’s most popular movies.
Blogger extraordinaire Joe Lalonde did a “super” job providing the first entry in the series, which begins with Avengers: Age of Ulton. I highly recommend you check it out!
The Reel Leadership series will not only help you understand and appreciate movies on a deeper level. It will also help you improve your life and leadership by giving us lessons from those films.
In addition, you’ll discover some great bloggers and podcasters you may not know, such as Jeff Brown, Paul Sohn, and Erik Fisher. I’ll be linking to each of their posts and/or podcast episodes in my newsletter (you can sign up here), and on Facebook and Twitter. Later this summer I’ll jump into the series with leadership lessons from Inside Out.
In the meantime, check out Joe Lalonde’s “super” helpful leadership analysis of The Avengers: Age of Ulton!
