Ghostwriting

You bring the expertise. I write the book.

Professional ghostwriting and book strategy for executives, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders who have something worth saying but don’t have the time to write the book themselves.

Who It's For

Is ghostwriting right for you?

You have a message, story, or framework that can help others. The problem is finding the time and support to actually get your book written.

  • You're a CEO, founder, executive, coach, consultant, or thought leader with real experience and expertise.
  • You know a book could strengthen your authority, expand your reach, or open new opportunities.
  • You don't want to spend the next year figuring out how to write a book yourself.
  • You want an experienced partner who understands both the craft of writing and the realities of publishing.
  • You want the finished book to sound like you—not like a ghostwriter.

What I Work On

The kinds of books I take on

I work across a wide range of nonfiction. What matters most is that there’s a clear purpose behind the book and something worth saying.

Business & Leadership

For founders, executives, and leaders who want to turn the way they think or lead into a book other people can learn from.

Expertise & Authority

For professionals with deep knowledge in a particular field who want a book that establishes them as the go-to voice on that subject.

Memoir & Legacy

For people with a life story, family history, or body of experience worth preserving and sharing.

Faith & Values

For books shaped by faith, conviction, character, or the beliefs that have guided someone’s life and work.

The Process

How ghostwriting works

You bring the expertise. I guide the process and turn your ideas into a finished book.

Plan & Position

We start by clarifying what the book needs to accomplish, who it is for, and how it should be shaped before the writing begins.

Capture & Create

Through focused interviews and existing material, I draw out what you know and what you want to say, then turn it into a manuscript that sounds unmistakably like you.

Refine & Prepare

We revise the manuscript together until it feels right and sounds like you. Then I help prepare it for editing and the publishing path you choose.

The Framework

The five-step POWER Process

My framework for turning your expertise into a book that sounds like you.

  • P

    Positioning

Before we write anything, we get clear on what the book is supposed to do. Who is it for? What problem does it solve? How should it strengthen your business, authority, or legacy?

  • O

    Outline

Next, I build the book’s architecture. We decide what belongs and what doesn’t. We also decide how the book will take the reader on a journey of transformation from beginning to end.

  • W

    Wealth

You already have the raw material. My job is to draw it out through focused interviews and the material you’ve already created, then identify the stories and ideas the book really needs.

  • E

    Execution

Then I do the heavy lifting. I turn that material into a manuscript that reflects the way you think and communicate.

  • R

    Revision

After the first draft, we work together to make sure that your voice feels natural and the finished manuscript says exactly what you want it to say.

What clients say about working with me

What stood out most was how well he listened. He didn’t try to take over my story—he helped me tell it. That’s a big difference when you’re trusting someone with something this personal.

What I appreciated most was how easy he was to work with—professional, thoughtful, and always prepared. He made the process smooth while delivering a book that truly reflects my voice.

He didn’t just make my words come alive; he captured my voice so authentically that readers have told me they could hear me on every page. That’s the true mark of a great ghostwriter.

When Kent delivered the first draft, I was genuinely blown away. While there were details to refine, the level of accuracy in both content and tone was remarkable. It truly felt like my voice on the page.

Kent was instrumental in helping me bring my book to life. He provided much-needed structure to what can otherwise feel like an overwhelming and mysterious process. I know without his help I would not be a published author.

Kent helped me cut through the noise and build a clear, disciplined blueprint that became the foundation of the book. The end result wasn’t just a book. It became a system I use to help other leaders build successful businesses.

What Clients Say Most Often

Three things I hear again and again

After dozens of projects, these are the comments I hear most often.

“It sounds like me.”

That’s usually the first thing clients care about. They want the book to sound natural and true to the way they think and communicate.

“It was easier than I expected.”

Most clients assume writing a book will take over their life. But in reality, my process is built around focused conversations that save them time, and then letting me do the heavy lifting.

“The book is already opening doors.”

A great book does more than sit on a shelf. It can lead to speaking opportunities, new clients, stronger credibility, and conversations that would not have happened otherwise.

Questions

The things everyone asks first.

How much does ghostwriting cost?

Every project is different. Pricing depends on the scope of the book, the amount of research and interviewing involved, and the complexity of the project. I explain the typical investment ranges in The Ghost-Powered Author.

How long does it take?

Most full-length books take about six to nine months from strategy through completed manuscript. More complex or research-heavy projects may take longer.

Will the book sound like me?

Absolutely. Capturing your voice is one of the most important parts of the process, and we refine the manuscript together until it feels unmistakably like you.

How involved do I need to be?

You provide the ideas, stories, expertise, and feedback; I handle the heavy lifting of structuring and writing the book. Full-length projects typically involve about 10–12 focused content calls.

Will readers care that I used a ghostwriter?

Usually not. Readers care that the ideas are yours, the voice feels authentic, and the book is worth reading.

Can you help me with publishing?

Yes. I can help you understand traditional, hybrid, bespoke, and independent publishing options and determine which path best fits your goals.

Can I just use AI to write my book?

AI can help with pieces of the process, but it cannot replace the human judgment, interviewing, strategy, and voice-capture required for a high-level book.

Let's Talk

Have an idea for a book? Let's talk about it.

Tell me what you’re thinking about writing, and I’ll help you clarify the idea and what it would take to bring it to life.

I take on a limited number of projects each year so every client gets my full attention.
