Book Ghostwriting
Are you an entrepreneur, business owner, thought leader, or professional who wants to change lives with your message? If so, you need a book!
A book helps establish your authority and credibility with clients and customers. It also gives you the ability to package your message in a convenient form that people can easily consume. The result is more opportunities for speaking, networking, and overall impact.
Through my company, Inkwell Ghostwriting, I provide ghostwriting and written content services to entrepreneurs, business owners, thought leaders, and other professionals who want to change lives with their message.
I will work with you to craft a book that features your ideas and content in a compelling non-fiction book. If you would rather invest your time running your business and spending time with your family than the months required to craft a book … let’s talk!
Podcast Show Notes
You’ve already invested a large amount of time in the content, interviews, and audio production for your podcast. Well-written show notes make your podcast even more valuable by distilling key points into written form for easy reference. Great show notes often include links, resources, learning points, and action steps to help the listener take away the maximum value from your show.
I currently write show notes for The Go-Giver podcast (iTunes link), and have written notes for numerous episodes of 50 Years of Maximum Rock ‘n Roll (iTunes link), Project Athena’s Trail Angels (iTunes link), Mere Mortals Unite (iTunes link), and my own podcast, Born to Create (iTunes link).
For samples of my show notes, check out the episodes below:

Kent Sanders has done an excellent job at writing my show notes for my podcast. I especially appreciated his ability to listen and work with me to get a result we were both proud of.
—Julie Ann Sullivan, Employee Engagement Speaker and host of the Mere Mortals Unite Podcast
Kent and I work on several projects together, particularly utilizing his skill in show notes for some of today’s New York Times bestselling authors and multimillion-dollar businesses. I trust his high-quality performance and creative expertise with no hesitation. If there is a project that needs an organized, thoughtful and professional style there is no other person I turn to. I would definitely recommend his services if you are looking for professional-level show notes that are delivered with excellence.

Blog Posts & Guest Posts
Great content takes time to create. As a busy leader, artist, or entrepreneur, you have many priorities to manage. Finding time to write great posts can be a real struggle.
This is where I can help. Whether you’re writing posts for your own site or crafting a key guest post for another site, I can develop and write posts that speak to your target audience, enhance your platform and brand, and help your reputation shine.
I specialize in topics related to productivity, creativity, entertainment, education, ministry, leadership, spirituality, and the arts. But I will consider other topics as needed.
For samples of my writing, see any of my blog posts on this site or my guest posts on other sites (here’s a partial list).

Content Development
No matter who you are, I know two things about you: 1) You have skills and knowledge that would add value to others, and 2) You would like to grow your audience. The secret to combining these two items is finding ways to package your knowledge in ways that will expand your audience.
Maybe you’re a pastor, writer, leader, coach, speaker, artist, or entrepreneur. You have valuable content to share with others, and there are a variety of ways to package your knowledge. I can help you identify and develop your content and outline specific ways to develop your material for maximum impact.
Here are a few examples:
- If you’re a blogger … you can repackage your blog posts as a book (or book series), podcast, video series, online courses, webinars, or speaking material.
- If you’re a podcaster … you can take your best content and create blog posts, guest posts, online courses, a book, webinars, speaking material, or video content.
- If you’re a pastor … you can repackage your sermons as blog posts, guest posts, a book, online courses, webinars, or other content.
- If you’re a speaker … you can repackage your talks as a book, blog posts, guest posts, podcast, a book, online courses, webinars, or video content.
- If you’re a coach or leader … you can develop and organize your material as a book, blog posts, guest posts, podcast, online courses, speaking material, webinars, or video content.
- If you’re a teacher or professor … you can repackage your course content into a book, blog posts, guest posts, speaking material, workshop, webinar, podcast, or video content.
Or maybe you don’t fall into any of the above categories. If you have a message or skills to share, and a willingness to work hard, you can absolutely translate your knowledge into a marketable product that you can sell … and even better, change people’s lives.
You don’t have to go it alone. As a college professor, author, podcaster, editor, and creative coach, I have spent most of my professional life developing and organizing material. I would love to help you clarify your audience and message, and then develop and package content that will delight your audience.

When it comes to turning one’s wisdom into a vast, yet stategically-focused amount of hugely valuable marketing content, not only is Kent extremely knowledgeable; he is also a fantastic teacher. Add to that the fact that he is absolutely committed to bringing exceptional value to those he works with and you’ve got yourself a consultant who can help you immeasurably. I highly recommend him!

Developmental Editing
Whether you’re crafting a book, blog post, sales copy, video content, or course material, you need ideas and writing that are clear and focused.
That’s where a developmental editor can help. This type of editing focus on the structure, content, and direction of your material. As a former lead editor at The Good Men Project (a large media site with several million annual readers), I helped many authors focus and clarify their writing. And as an author myself, I have also benefited from the valuable input of a great editor.
I would love to help add value to your book, blog post, or other project. To chat further about developmental editing, email me at kent@kentsanders.net. (Please note that I don’t edit fiction.)

Kent worked with our organization to help edit and format a book for CreateSpace. His coaching and advice were a big help in walking us through the self-publishing process. Thanks, Kent!

Self-Publishing Coaching
Have you written a book but aren’t sure what steps to take next? I can definitely help with that.
I am a huge fan of self-publishing. While traditional publishing is still a great option for many, self-publishing is a great way to get your book published in a quick, affordable way. I self-published my second book, The Artist’s Suitcase: 26 Essentials for the Creative Journey, and will do the same with my next book, Born to Create (which releases in the third quarter of 2017).
If you want to self-publish your book but need help walking through editing, printing, and marketing, I would love to help. I work with a select group of editors and graphic designers, and use CreateSpace for printing. I recently helped the Mission to Russia organization self-publish a book, Miracle in Russia.

Kent provided editing and layout services for a book written by our organization’s executive director. He also coached us through the self-publishing process with CreateSpace. Kent was professional and efficient, and he helped us meet a tight deadline for the book project. Without hesitation, we would definitely recommend his services to other ministries, organizations, and individuals!
